MADAME MAO'S DOWRY
Liuba Draws (Liuba Vladimirova) is a self-taught freelance illustrator, gallery artist and maker of little things. She loves to use watercolors because of their 'soft and yummy colours.'
Her illustrations are mostly inspired by her explorations in the streets and hutongs of her hometown of Beijing. She beautifully depicts the day-to-day life and abiding traditions of the capital, yet many alo resonate with urban life in China more broadly. As Liuba says, what attracts her is her fascination with the “romantic side of a simpler life” and Shanghai is certainly not light on that!
We stock a selection of Liuba's greetings cards, postcards and calenders.
